1 : interior quality or character
2 : inner life or substance : psychological existence

Everything seen and unseen is playing a part in meta-conversation of the universe. The question is, what is each element trying to say? What is it interior quality or character; its inner life of substance?

Take, for example, that tiny leaf floating in a puddle of water atop a rock in the stream. What is its part in the conversation? How can I connect with it? What does it want me to know?

That is what we call "interiority," particularly nature's interiority.

Does it bask in the light contentedly? If so, it is speaking to me of contentedness and trust.

Does it wiggle and move, wanting to get on with its journey downstream? If so, it speaks to me of purpose and patience -- knowing one's place and waiting for the forces of the universe to help you move toward it.

Those are the types of things that influence the way we perceive, compose, and edit our images. Our titles are a final flavoring of the image in our attempt to help it communicate to you.
